Tougher European rules against human trafficking: additional protection for migrants?

A review of the now more ambitious rules on combating human trafficking was published in the Official Journal on 13 June. However, the amended directive does not provide sufficient answers to the specific needs of migrants, who are particularly affected by this crime during their migratory journey.
